WHAT CAUSES ANKLE SPRAINS

There are a host of underlying weaknesses that can individually or in combination predispose to to ankle sprains.

Possible underlying causes of ankle sprains include:

 -Flat feet or low arches
 -Scar tissue in foot or ankle
 -Instability or weakness in hip muscles
 -Weak ankle stabilising muscles
 -Glutes not firing properly
 -Un-rehabilitated injuries in ankle, hip & knee
